01Why count in hours rather than kilometres?

On a road bike you tend to think in kilometres. But manufacturer intervals are calibrated in engine hours. An MT-07 that covers 10,000 km of motorway is not worn the same way as an MT-07 that covers 10,000 km in town, stuck in traffic.
