Deleteyour account.

Your account is yours. Here is how to delete it for good, what that erases, and how long it takes.

From the app (fastest)

Open the HOROTAG app, then Settings → Delete my account. The request is recorded immediately, without going through us.

If you have uninstalled the app

Email dpo@horotag.com from your account email address, with "account deletion" as the subject. We process the request within 30 days and confirm by reply. No supporting document is required: your email address is the proof.

The grace period

Deletion is not immediate: your account stays recoverable for 30 days. You can cancel at any time from the app during that window. After that, an automated job erases the account — the operation becomes irreversible.

What gets erased

Your account, profile, email address and password
Your bikes, hour meters, sessions and GPS tracks
Your maintenance logbook and the photos you uploaded
Your devices are detached from your account and become activatable again

What we keep, and why

Invoices and accounting records are kept for 10 years, as French law requires of any company. They are no longer tied to your account but to the accounting obligation. Technical security logs are kept as long as needed to detect abuse, then purged.

Get your data out first

Before deleting, you can export all of your data from Settings → Export my data. You get a file with your logbook, hours and sessions. After deletion, nothing can be recovered.
